How do blocks get their look?

Every block is matched to a representative color and lit in 3D, so the render is clean and consistent and never shows a missing-texture block — even for blocks the tool has never seen.

Can I export a transparent image?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Set the background to "None" and the exported PNG has a transparent background, ready to drop onto a thumbnail. You can also pick a solid color or gradient.

What sizes can I export?

Accepted Answer

Thumbnail-ready aspect ratios — 16:9, 1:1, 9:16, 4:3, and 3:2 — at standard or 2× quality.
